Night sweating in men is a common problem that doctors have to tackle. Night sweats in men refer to perspiration that is more than normal especially at night. The andropause phase of a man’s life is also responsible for profuse perspiration. With the reduction in the production of the testosterone hormone men begin to sweat at night. You should also be careful about the food you take. Oily and spicy items can lead to sweating. Try to keep your food menu as simple as possible if you wish to reduce sweating at night. Nicotine, tannin, caffeine are all significant factors that are responsible for night sweats in men.

Simple ways of avoiding night sweats is by wearing light cotton clothes at night. Material that breathes will help the body to remain dry. Rich food must be avoided. Drink plenty of water to compensate for the loss. This will maintain a proper temperature balance in your body. Try to avoid exercising at night .This may cause night sweats too.

If excessive perspiration still persists then consult a physician at once and get the right medication to rid yourself of this problem.
