ETS is NOT a completely safe procedure. ETS can cause compensatory sweating, which is excessive sweating that may occur on the back, chest, abdomen, legs, face, and buttocks as a side effect of the surgery. In most cases, the sweating is worse than the original sweating problem. This should only be considered as a last resort option.
